A polished product is one possible outcome. Research, prototypes, useful infrastructure, a licensed method, a spin-out or a documented dead end can be valuable too. We will not call an idea validated simply because it has a name.

We continue when a problem matters, an approach survives testing and a product has a reason to exist. We change direction when the evidence points elsewhere. We archive work when it has taught us enough.
